How to Apply: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the application form

To begin applying, access the online application form. Once you've arrived at the form, create an account and complete the appropriate application form for the session and grade for which you are applying.

2. Submit your report card

As part of the application, you will be required to submit your report card.

  • Current Grade 8 students, please submit your final Grade 7 report card or midterm Grade 8 report card (whichever is most recent).
  • Students in Grade 9 or above, please submit a recent report card as well as transcripts of any credits earned so far.

3. Submit a letter of reference

Ask for a letter of reference on school letterhead from a teacher or principal. The person you ask to write the letter will be able to upload the document themselves, instructions for them will be provided from the application portal.

4. Application fees

When your application is complete, you will be required to pay a $150 (CAD) fee upon submission. The fee can be paid online when submitting.

5. Dean interview

Each potential student will be interviewed by a Dean as part of the process. After their application is complete students will receive instructions via email to schedule an interview.

6. Acceptance and Registration

All accepted students will receive an official letter of acceptance via mail, and will be invited to begin registering for classes.

Registration for classes will take place in June after final marks have been submitted from a student's current school. Registration involves course selection and finalizing a timetable.

At the time of registration, students will be required to submit a deposit of of $2,000 (CAD).

7. Payment and Scholarship

All students who apply to The Collegiate are automatically considered for scholarships to assist with tuition fees. Please see the Scholarships page for more information.
