Performing Arts at The Collegiate

The Collegiate

The Collegiate offers the finest in performing arts courses for students who are passionate about singing, playing musical instruments, or dramatic arts.  New for this Spring is a Young Artists Intensive course in Music which provides students with an opportunity to work with local music professionals.   A recording session will be part of the course. Our music programs are offered in Bryce Hall, where we share renovated studio space with the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Art (MCMA). Our partnership with MCMA also allows our students to discover their passion beyond the classroom, with opportunities to practice or have lessons over lunch or during spares in dedicated studio space, experience free recitals and performances, and participate in discounted theory courses, masterclasses, and free workshops.

As the proud academic partner of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Ballet Academic Program, The Collegiate is also the home school of some of Winnipeg’s finest young dancers enrolled in the RWB’s professional division. For more information on the program, and to apply, please visit the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Performing Arts Partners

The Collegiate understands the importance of learning through experience. This is why we’ve partnered with local professional performing arts organizations to help bring curriculum to life across a range of subjects, and to deliver the highest quality secondary school education to students who are passionate about the arts.
