UW Collegiate graduate Taryn Grant (Class of 2012) has been making a splash in the world of water-skiing. Last year, Taryn set a Canadian open women's record with a jump of 53.2 metres. This record-setting jump was just one of the accomplishments that helped Taryn be recently named the 2020 female water ski athlete of the year by Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (WSWC). As of this past July, Taryn was the fifth-ranked water-skier in the world.
